Fan Jin, General Manager, Clinical Trial Testing Solutions

Fan Jin oversees Labcorp’s Central Lab and Bioanalytical Lab in Singapore, China and Japan with a focus on continued growth and maintaining a high-quality reputation for global and regional clients. Prior to her current role, Fan was executive director of Labcorp China Bioanalytical Lab and was responsible for LC-MS/MS and immunochemistry within the bioanalytical lab. Drawing on her new drug development experience and excellent working knowledge in managing operations in China, Fan built and developed a strong scientific team.

Since joining Labcorp China as director of bioanalytical chemistry in 2008, Fan was instrumental in setting up the GLP bioanalytical process in China and has a record of leading fast growth of the China lab throughout her tenure. As test facility management of the bioanalytical lab, Fan and her team hosted multiple regulatory inspections including FDA, OECD and NMPA. Fan is also an active member of the Steering Committee of China Bioanalysis Forum (CBF). 

Before joining Labcorp, Fan was the VP of operations at a small U.S. CRO in Shanghai, where she managed the operation and growth of the laboratory including bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis and formulation development. Fan worked at a prestigious pharmaceutical company in research and development in the U.S. for 11 years with increasing responsibilities in pharmaceutical analysis supporting IND to NDA stage projects.

Fan received a Master of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. She also has a Master of Science degree from Harvard University School of Public Health.
